History of plant
Nikopol steel pipe plant YutiSt, CJSCo was founded in 2000 during the restructuring
of Nikopol Yuzhnotrubny Works. It comprises two shops: • Tube
Rolling Shop equipped with TPA-140 mill lo produce seamless hot-worked pipes from
73 mm to 166 mm in diameter and up to 12 m in length; • Tube Drawing
Shop equipped with cold-rolling and drawing mills to produce seamless cold-worked
pipes from 6 mm to 90 mm in diameter and up to 9 m in length (12 m in agreement).
Depending on assortment, the plant has capacity to produce from 14
to 16 thousand tons of steel pipes monthly. Its product line includes as follows:
• boiler pipes from 12 mm to 159 mm in diameter for high-pressure
boilers in accordance with TU 14-3-460-75; • boiler pipes from
10 mm to 168 rnm in diameter for low-pressure boilers in accordance with TU 14-3-190-82;
• pipes for general applications in accordance with GOST 8734-75 (diam
from 6 to 90 mm), GOST 8732-78 (diam from 73 mm to 168 mm) and GOST 9567-75 (high
precision); •carbon and alloy steel pipes for machine-building, including
thick-walled and shaped (square, rectangular, etc), bearing, special etc. pipes.
The mill also produces pipes in accordance with DIN and ASTM Standards,
namely: • alloy-free steel pipes for general applications in accordance
with DIN1629, 2440, ASTM A53; • high-precision alloy-free steel
pipes for general applications in accordance with DIN 1630; •
pipes for boiler plants and pipelines in accordance with DIN 17175, ASTM A106;
• pipes for steelwork in accordance with EN 10210 etc.
